Stuart Haines has delivered business benefits through the application of information technology to many organisations throughout the world.

In the past 20 years, he has successfully completed over 25 major assignments for organisations in the finance, energy, manufacturing and government sectors. He:

  • managed the development and implementation of a document image & workflow system that enabled NatWest Life Assurance to achieve a 30% productivity gain in Policy Servicing;
  • managed the implementation of a new ‘Prestige Brand’ credit card for the Halifax / Bank of Scotland that gave them enhanced market presence and a new source of profits;
  • delivered an integrated set of application software for the MoD Procurement Executive; achieving a common method of working across the organisation. These advances contributed to a reduction in average procurement project duration and savings to the taxpayer;
  • enabled the Swedish banking corporation, Handlesbanken, to develop and implement emerging design techniques in their IT department. These new object orientated methods allowed the bank to develop cheaper, more robust systems and enhanced the skills of their IT team;
  • ensured the Newcourt Credit Group was able to win and take–on large tranches of new business by delivering enhancements to their operational systems. Also implemented new systems that drove down the cost, quality and elapse time of credit checking;
  • delivered new systems for Lloyds Bank Registrars that reduced their operational costs, increased their capacity and which were key to their becoming the leading floatation company and most successful registrars in the country;
  • managed the development of the first ATM and telephone banking system in Moscow, helping his client, Dialog Bank, gain a significant competitive advantage;
  • designed a new application architecture for the Swiss private client bank, UBP - giving them a foundation for significant reductions in their IT costs and improvements in services.
